EPRA Newfoundland & Labrador

ERPA Newfoundland and Labrador is responsible for implementing and operating an industry-led and government-approved electronic products recycling program that is available for consumers and businesses throughout the province.

More than 270 manufacturers, retailers and other stakeholders are stewards of the EPRA Newfoundland and Labrador Program plan, which is approved by government in accordance with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador Waste Management Regulation.

EPRA Newfoundland and Labrador annually collects over 133,500 devices in the province for recycling.  Since launching in Newfoundland and Labrador on August 1, 2013, the program has recycled more than 1,600 metric tonnes of end-of-life electronics in an environmentally sound and socially responsible manner, diverting over 248,000 devices from landfills and illegal export.
