If you sell or distribute obligated electronic products in or into Nova Scotia, you are required to be part of a product management program approved by the Government of Nova Scotia.
Electronic Products Recycling Association (EPRA) Nova Scotia manages a government-approved program that is established by manufacturers, retailers and other stakeholders to collect and responsibly recycle electronic waste.
The program is funded through an Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) that is charged on the sale and distribution of regulated products in or into the province, and remitted to EPRA Nova Scotia.
Businesses selling regulated electronic products can meet their obligations by joining the EPRA Nova Scotia Program. Online Registration is available.
