Recycle MY Electronics only works with recyclers that have been verified under the national Electronics Recycling Standard (ERS), which was designed by the electronics industry to ensure that electronics are recycled in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Our Recycler Qualification Office (RQO) verifies the recyclers against the ERS requirements. Televisions and monitors, including various technologies such as Cathode Ray Tube (CRT), flat panel (LCD, LED and plasma) and rear projection.
- Non-Cellular Telephones : Recycling corded and cordless telephones, as well as telephone answering machines are style possible.
- Home Audio/Video Systems : These devices can be drop-off to be recycled that includes: VCRs, DVD and CD players, speakers, amplifiers, receivers, data projectors and similar audio/video systems.

- Countertop Microwave Ovens :We recycle Countertop Microwave Ovens that may include microwaves from hotel rooms or restaurant units similar in chassis type to household type units.
*Please note built-in or over-the-range microwave ovens and microwave/range hood combinations are excluded from the program; it’s not possible to drop-it to a Recycle My Electronics location.
- Video Gaming Systems and Accessories :We recycle popular video Gaming Systems that include gaming console, video game console controller and both wired and wireless joysticks.
- Floor-Standing Photocopiers/Multi-Function Devices :Recycling Floor-standing photocopiers and Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) are possible with My Recycle Electronics program. This will include all printing and copying devices, utilizing all printing technologies which are floor-standing models and can print on media with dimensions up to 48″ wide.
- Global Positioning System (GPS) Personal Portable & Vehicle (aftermarket) :We recycle technology like GPS devices both for personal portable use (sports, leisure, etc.), as well as aftermarket systems designed for use in a vehicle.
- External Storage Drives & Modems :Of course external hard drives including home media network hard drives and external optical disk drives, as well as network-attached storage devices (NAS), external CD-ROM, DVD and Blu-ray drives are recyclable too with Recycle My Electronics program.
- E-Book Readers :Recycle My Electronics drop-off accepts this technology equipment end-of-life like E-Book Readers that includes: personal and portable devices designed primarily for reading digital e-books and periodicals.
