A Big THANK YOU to the Population—More Than 85 Tonnes of Old Electronics Collected During the October Long Weekend!

The big collection event held on the October 9-10 weekend was a great success! This initiative of EPRA-Québec’s Recycle My ElectronicsTM program was finally back, much to the delight of some 4,700 citizens who stopped by the parking lots of CF Carrefour Laval, CF Fairview Pointe Claire, and CF Promenades St-Bruno shopping centres to recycle their old electronics safely, securely, and responsibly. As a result, more than 85 metric tonnes of devices have been diverted from landfills, illegal exportation, or processing by irresponsible recyclers!

EPRA-Québec thanks Cadillac Fairview and its three shopping centres for their valuable collaboration as well as all the citizens who took the time to drop off their old electronics!
